M & E Alarms was founded in 1984 to provide a comprehensive and professional fire and security service to the Homes and Businesses in the South West. We are a family run company which endeavors to provide our customers with a genuine friendly, helpful and reliable service.

Within this time we have managed to grow a loyal and dedicated staff that produce an enviable level of service we feel is not matched within our operating area. This is probably why such a high percentage of our customers have remained with us some from our beginning .Also over the past 25 years we have worked closely with local authorities, maintaining fire and security systems in many schools, hospitals and council buildings, and still do to this day.

We also maintain the town centre CCTV systems in Barnstaple, Bideford and Ilfracombe in North Devon, which means we work closely with the Police and Town management organizations and can deliver when working within bid projects etc.

All the employees at M & E Alarms Ltd are all CRB checked, and the company holds the relevant CHAS approval for the health and safety aspects for today’s construction industry.
We are continually expanding our range offered as the demand from our customers to carry out new types of work i.e.: Access Control, Electric Gates, Wireless Equipment, External Beam Alarms to list just a few.
